Episode 024: Scarlett Ryan

Scarlett Ryan:

Scarlett talks about the importance of connecting with your students in order to have an impact on their learning. She also discusses Classroom Dojo and the CHAMPS program created by Randy Sprick.

Scarlett Ryan has taught in NEISD in San Antonio for 24 years. During that time she taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and 5th grade, which is her placement now. She is ESL certified and has also done Special Ed mainstream co-teach and a co-teach with deaf students for two years. She spent her first three years at a Title I inner-city school. She is currently teaching in a suburban school with a mixture of races and socio-economic backgrounds and ability levels.
